1st February 2012 Google Earth was updated to version 6.2 on 26th January 2012. Unfortuntely this version is NOT compatable with RWDecal.
The issues with the latest version of GoogleEarth are quite substantial and a complete re-write of RWDecal may be needed to resolve them.
RWDecal does still work correctly with GoogleEarth 6.1 and earlier. These versions can be downloaded from Google directly but you will need to make sure that automatic updates are disabled on Google Earth to prevent it self updating to the latest version.

To use RWDecal you MUST use Google Earth 6.1 or earlier!

RWDecal is supported by your donations. By making RWDecal donationware the user can decide the value of the software for themselves and then make a donation which reflects this value. The only requirement is that you make a minimum donation of £3.
You may ask why it is not freeware. By making RWDecal donationware your donations provide an incentive to the developer to provide new features and continually improve the software. By donating you are supporting the developer and the trainsim community.
Donations can be made using PayPal and via UKTrainSim. To use PayPal you must have a PayPal account (you can create one at the time of donating).
If you would prefer to support both RWDecal and UKTrainSim (not to mention receive discounted UKTrainSim premium membership!) or maybe you just don't want to use PayPal then the new RWDecal / UKTrainSim offer is exactly what you need.
Once you have made a donation a license will be sent to you via email. This would normally take less than 48 hours. If you fail to receive a license then contact donate@rwdecal.co.uk. Make sure you check your spam folder in case the email is incorrectly detected as spam.
When deciding on the value you give RWDecal please factor in the time it will save you. Just because the minimum donation is £3 does not mean that this all you should donate. Consider the software's worth to you. If it saves you an hours work (just 3 or 4 decals created by hand takes over an hour where as RWDecal creates these in minutes) then what is that hour worth to you?
